Audigy 2 Asio Driver

I have an Audigy 2 ZS NOT Platinum. Are there ASIO drivers I can install.for this card. If so, where can I find them. I understand that the Platinum.is ASIO-ready out of the box, but.I do not have the Platinum.

Audigy 2 ZS has the ASIO enable once you install the drivers. Also, there s no single file to download for ASIO, there within the sound drivers.

Difference between ASIO and MME/DS is thet you need a ASIO capable software to get ASIO driver into use. This is the situation w/ WDM/KS functions too. So, if you like to playback your audio through ASIO drivers then get, as for an example, one of these players:

MediaMonkey Winamp ASIO plugin,

If you like to record using ASIO drivers then get, as for an example, one of these sequencer/multitracker software:

Cakewalk Home Studio/Sonar/etc.

There s a document named as Music Creation Guide on Audigy installation CD there you ll find information over using of CT ASIO and recording with sequencer/multitracking software.
