HAND-HELD BATTERY-POWERED TOOLS

The 20 Year Replacement Battery Agreement is available free of charge, for a limited time commencing February 15, 2007 to purchasers of a ROCKWELL brand hand-held battery-powered tool purchased after that date and subject to the terms and conditions stated below. To accept this 20 Year Free Replacement Battery Agreement, a purchaser must submit the warranty registration for the purchased product and submit proof of purchase as described below.

The 20 Year Replacement Battery Agreement provides ONLY the original owner of a qualifying ROCKWELL tool with a twenty years of free replacement batteries subject to the limitations set forth below.

MODELS INCLUDED IN THE 20 YEAR FREE REPLACEMENT AGREEMENT

The 20 Year Replacement Battery Agreement is available for all ROCKWELL hand-held battery-powered tools featuring MaxLithium, LithiumTech, Compack or PowerTank batteries.

REGISTER TOOL WITHIN 90 DAYS OF PURCHASE

To accept the ROCKWELL 20 Year Free Replacement Battery Agreement, you must submit the warranty registration for your qualifying ROCKWELL portable battery-powered tool within 90 days after purchase. For expedited handling, register by logging on to www.rockwelltools.com, click on Register a Product and follow the required steps. Customers in the United States Canada may also register by mail. Simply complete the registration card found inside your ROCKWELL tool kit and mail the card, together with a copy of your store receipt and the original UPC from the package of the qualifying product, to the address shown on your warranty card. Customers may also complete product registration by contacting our customer care center toll free at 866-514-7625. All registrations must be made under the name of an individual person.

This Agreement applies only to the original registered owner and may not be transferred.

This Agreement only covers ROCKWELL batteries and tools.

This Agreement does not cover the costs to process and ship the replacement battery if necessary.

CHANGES TO AGREEMENT TERMS AND CONDITIONS

ROCKWELL reserves the right to cancel, alter or change the implied or written terms and conditions of the Free 20 Year Replacement Battery Agreement at any time.

Any such implied warranties are expressly disclaimed.

The manufacturer warrants that, for a period of 3 years from the date of purchase,

this product shall be free of defects in materials and workmanship. If your Rockwell

tool becomes defective due to faulty materials or workmanship within a period of

Repair products free of charge, or,

Replace the unit with a new or re-conditioned unit, free of charge.

The tool has not been used for trade or professional purposes.

The tool has not been used for rental purposes.

The tool has not sustained damage through foreign objects, substances or accidents.

The tool was not purchased prior to January 1st, 2013. Purchases made prior to 2013 will be subject to a 2 Year Limited Warranty.

Abnormal use, abuse, neglect, accidents, alteration or repairs by other than approved service centers.

Normal tool wear and tear and professional, trade, or rental use.

Components that are subject to natural wear and tear caused by use in accordance with operating instructions.

Unauthorized/improper maintenance/handling or overload is excluded from this warranty as are accessories such as bulbs, blades and bits, etc.
